Founded as Medeeliyn Khariltsa BBHK
In 1994, the company was founded as Medeeliyn Khariltsa BBHK and began providing domestic network and Internet services in Mongolia for the first time.

Ground station installed and put into operation
In December 1995, a ground station was installed and put into operation.

First full Internet service center opened
From January 17, 1996, Mongolians gained online access to the Internet, with the number of Internet users reaching over 500.

PAN Asia Networking International Conference
In June 1997, the PAN Asia Networking international conference was held in Ulaanbaatar at the Chinggis Khan Hotel, with over 100 delegates from Asian countries participating.

First subsidiary Datanet LLC founded
In 1998, Datacom's first subsidiary, Datanet LLC, was founded to provide high-speed leased lines, network security, and virtual private network services.

MagicNet Internet Service Center established
On October 1, 1999, MagicNet (Mongolian Access to Global Information and Communication) was established as an LLC.

NetPhone service successfully launched
In June 2001, the IP-based international telephone service NetPhone was successfully launched via AT&T's network.

NetBill service and Netcard debit card launched
In 2002, Netcard LLC launched the first electronic payment service NetBill and the Netcard online debit card, enabling Mongolians to pay for internet stores and web-based services online.

MagicNet LLC began operating independently
In April 2003, MagicNet and DataNet companies merged and began operating independently as MagicNet LLC.

WWW Express web salon opened
On June 1, 2004, the WWW Express web salon was opened in partnership with the National IT Park to provide comprehensive web services and make web pages accessible to the public.

eLibrary.MN electronic library launched
In October 2005, the eLibrary.MN electronic library software and website for the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science of Mongolia was developed and launched.

On January 17, 2006, the 10th anniversary of the Internet in Mongolia was celebrated. A national seminar was successfully organized at the Chinggis Hotel, recognizing top employees.

In April 2007, all .MN domain resellers were fully equipped with a unified management panel for domain registration, web hosting, email services, and online payment processing.

On February 12, 2008, comments were submitted to the US Department of Commerce on the operations of ICANN, which unites over 200 countries.

In January 2012, Mongolia's most popular free email service @mail.mn migrated to Google's official, more reliable system.
First phase of Cyrillic internet address technology successfully completed
In June 2012, the first phase of implementing Cyrillic internet address technology was successfully completed, and our IDN address was officially registered with ICANN as .МОН.
Authorized to distribute Google Education and Gsuite
Datacom became an official Google corporate partner in 2012 by acquiring the right to distribute Google Education and Gsuite business packages.

On April 1, 2013, a new customer support system was implemented to enable fast and efficient communication with customers.

Mongolian Cyrillic domain name service launched
Open registration began on October 15, 2014. Agreements were signed with the Intellectual Property Office and the National Data Center to introduce Mongolian domain names.
Customer service system implemented with 2-hour resolution time
From 2014, a customer service system was introduced to resolve customer issues within 2 working hours, allowing all services to be accessed fully online.

From September 2016, the Business 2.0 Academy was opened and the Learn.one.mn online training platform was launched, offering classroom and online training and technical consulting.

From February 2018, the Ask.one.mn customer question and answer platform was launched.
Customer service call recording started
From March 2018, customer service calls began being recorded for quality research purposes.
Datacom customer panel updated
From May 2018, the Datacom customer panel was updated, allowing customers to register at datacom.mn and access 100% of services online.

From January 2019, customers can receive their VAT receipts online and the organization's payment system can automatically input VAT information.
New WordPress hosting and Multidomain hosting introduced
From May 2019, new WordPress hosting and Multidomain hosting were introduced. WordPress hosting is recommended for company websites built on the WordPress platform, while Multidomain hosting allows hosting multiple sites cost-effectively.

As part of the E-Mongolia project to digitize government services, the Professional Inspection Agency's digital system was completed in 2020.
New advanced Office email launched
In April 2020, a new comprehensive OFFICE MAIL solution with email and file storage functionality was introduced to business clients.
Connected to DAN government service system
Datacom's customer system was connected to the DAN government service system, enabling verified authentication of domain name holders and all customers.

From March 2021, Datacom LLC became an official Microsoft reseller and began offering Microsoft Office 365 services with official authorization.
Participated in TLDCON2021 event
Datacom LLC's CTO Ts. Ankhzaya presented on 'Verified WHOIS' at the #TLDCON international ccTLD registrars conference organized by .RU ccTLD (Russia).
New VPS server (Linode - SSD) introduced
In November 2021, a new advanced VPS server located in Singapore was introduced, offering high-capacity server rental services at low cost.

Based on customer interest, the trending .IO domain for startups became available for registration on the datacom.mn system from February 2022.

In October 2022, domain.mn for international users was fully redesigned with an improved payment system and enhanced user UX.

In January 2023, Datacom LLC expanded by establishing Datacom Systems LLC, Datacom Cloud LLC, and eMN Registry LLC.
Domestic Shared hosting service launched
From 2023, a Single Domain Linux Shared Host service located in Mongolia with unlimited local speed was made available to customers.
Node.js APP hosting and WordPress hosting launched domestically
To offer more options to customers, Datacom LLC launched Node.js APP hosting and WordPress hosting services in Mongolia.
